With more than 20 years’ experience in media, Jodie is a skilled client leader with a passion for fueling collaboration and effectiveness across teams. She joined Starcom in 2013 after nearly two decades at Dentsu Aegis with a strong track record both in local market as well as running large and complex global accounts, servicing extensively integrated scopes of work for some of the world’s most well-known brands.
In her most recent role as president, Global Network Clients for Publicis Media EMEA, Jodie has had responsibility across the global teams driving strong organic and new business growth and accelerating the transformation of the global client organisation to a digitally led, data-driven business. Jodie’s new role is focused on driving the vibrant, growing Starcom business across the EMEA region, responsible for building a connected international and domestic Starcom powerhouse in the UK, driving international clients based across the region and strengthening the reputation of Starcom. Her clients include Mars, Airbnb, Heineken, Visa, FCA, Samsung, and Etihad.
An industry veteran with a passion for strategic excellence, Adam Rattner leads business development for Starcom Worldwide, with a focus on the U.S. market where he has led growth efforts since 2014.
Previously, Adam drove all business development and marketing across the EMEA region for Starcom Worldwide. Before joining SMG, Adam served on the integrated marketing and communications team at Coca-Cola, managing media investment and owned assets across the UK and Ireland.
As the Global Chief Experience Officer, Bohb Blair’s passion lies at the intersection of technology and ideas, where the next-generation strategy and design combine to create experiences that meaningfully connect consumers to our clients’ brands. He is a deeply creative mind and conceptual thinker who most recently served as lead for the Starcom USA Experience Design practice.
Prior, Bohb led the Invention group at Mindshare Chicago. Under his direction, the team mixed creative planning and services to create award-winning media campaigns for clients like Huggies, Cottonelle, BP, Poise and Kotex. Bohb has previously worked as a creative lead at experiential agency Legacy, a conceptor at Draft Worldwide and in entertainment marketing with KBA.
A results-driven communications professional with more than 15 years of experience spanning corporate, non-profit and agency sectors, Michelle McGowan is responsible for advancing the global reputation for Starcom Worldwide through a clear, consistently told brand story. Overseeing the global strategic approach to all communications and brand marketing initiatives, she is also a key member of the Publicis Media Global Communications practice, working closely with regional and local market communications leads to unify the Starcom brand voice and culture.
Previously, Michelle was the VP, Director of Corporate Communications for FCB, and most recently was the SVP, Director of Communications and Brand Marketing for Starcom USA.
Alison Moriarty is a talented human resources executive with more than 20 years of experience building strategic partnerships and leading organizations through business transformation. With a passion for improving overall business effectiveness by securing, motivating and fostering high-performance talent, as Global Culture Champion; Chief Talent Officer for Starcom USA, Alison has spent the past five years building the Starcom brand, with a focus on the U.S. market.
Prior to Starcom, Alison was the VP of Human Resources at Ipsos, serving as a member of the Ipsos ASI Global Management Team. She also launched her own HR consulting practice, guiding business leaders to improve productivity in times of strategic growth or transition.
Alastair Taylor is a convergent thinker with diverse category experience across the UK and North America, specializing in helping brands understand how technology and media are changing the point of purchase with their consumers. With a proven track record in business development and culture creation, Alastair is a transformational leader building corporate cultures for the modern business reality.
Currently, the CEO of Starcom and Mediavest, Alastair is responsible for leading all facets of the business at one of Canada’s leading media agencies. Clients include Kraft, TD, Visa, Samsung and Kellogg’s.
While at MEC in Toronto, Alastair was the chief client officer and oversaw the Molson Coors, Netflix, L'Oreal, and GE businesses.
Jason has worked in the media industry for nearly 25 years holding a range of leadership positions including Managing Director, Global and Regional Account Director. He has been based in London, Singapore, Shanghai and now Auckland. He joined as Managing Director of Starcom New Zealand in June 2017.
In his role as Managing Director, Jason focuses the agency and teams to ensure that they have the right resources, talent and skills on clients' businesses to drive growth. His personal strengths lie in strategic thinking, analytics and accountability.
Over his career Jason has worked in multiple industry sectors with many global advertisers including: FMCG (P&G, Mars Wrigley, HiPP & Lindt), Health (GSK), Finance (RBS & AMP), Motor (VW, Shell & BP), Technology (Nokia, Nikon & T-Mobile), Media (Warner Bros, Express Newspapers & De Agostini), Travel (agoda & Sands resorts) and Fashion (Ben Sherman).
Anne-Sophie joined Starcom France as managing director in October 2010 and became CEO in 2014.
Anne-Sophie is an inspiring leader with expertise in the evolution of media at both digital and media agencies. She has been crucial in helping clients better apprehend the digital world and cross-screen strategies, and she has successfully maintained the momentum of Starcom for the past five years.
She started her career in Renault’s global media department and then joined Omnicom Media Group where she worked on clients such as Smart, Nissan, Coty Prestige, Bulgari, Longchamp and Gap. After 10 years at OMG, she transitioned her focus to digital and joined FullSIX to build and lead their media department, 6AM, working on Fiat’s digital campaigns.
In the last eight years at Starcom, he integrated specialist capabilities within business teams while assembling new service practices across the region – including the agency’s content and social practice with P&G as its inaugural client and co-owning the agency’s client-pivoting approach towards data and programmatic. He has also led the agency’s largest business (Samsung) across Southeast Asia, Oceania and Taiwan. In 2013, he was honoured twice as “Media Person of the Year” at the Singapore Media Awards and “Southeast Asia Account Person of the Year” by Campaign Asia.
Liv joined Starcom Sweden in 1998 and has held many positions, including media and communications director, creative director, group client service director and COO. Between 2011 and 2012, she was part of the Global Product Committee. Prior, she was head of the Nordic research and planning department at MTV Nordics and Nickelodeon. During Liv’s time with Starcom the agency has grown from an independent local entity to the leading agency in Sweden, both in size and in creative reputation.
Liv is also author of the book “The Me We Generation” and is a frequent speaker at external seminars, such as Stockholm Media Week and Medievalsdagarna. She has jury experience as jury chairman, Swedish Media Publishers' Association, “Årets Dagstidning” 2011, from Stockholm Media Award 2009 and 100-wattaren in 2007 and was part of the Cannes Media Lions jury in 2012.
Magda Kolenkiewicz is the general manager of Starcom Poland. In 2004, she joined Starcom and has been responsible for clients including Kraft Foods Polska, Deichmann, ZT Kruszwica and Raiffeisen Polbank.
Magda was co-author of campaigns that were awarded and recognized during key Polish and international advertisement competitions, i.e., Festival of Media, Effie Awards and Media Trendy. One of her major professional successes was managing Milka’s social campaign called “Milka. Together for the Tatras,” the most awarded campaign in the history of the Media Trendy competition.
In 2017, Magda was a jury member at the Festival of Media Global and is a current jury member of the Euro Effie Awards.
Malli is CEO of Starcom India. In his career spanning 19 years, Malli has experience as a planner and client & analytics professional. In his current role, Malli has driven Starcom’s product vision of Precision Marketing, Digital Transition and Analytics aggressively forward.
Prior to Starcom, he served as COO of Madison Media Infinity heading a set of clients that included Cadbury, Marico, McDonald’s, Asian Paints, AXA & Axis Bank. Malli has been a simulations modeler with Tata Interactive Systems where he headed the modeling practice in building simulations and games. He has also worked as the head on the P&G Planning AOR at Starcom and spent three years at Asian Paints as head of Media, Market Research, Activation & PR.
Malli was nominated in the Economic Times’ Brand Equity's List of Top 50 Advertising and Media Professionals in India for 2015. He is also among Campaign Asia's A-List comprised of the top 100 media professionals in APAC.
Marta Ruiz-Cuevas, CEO of Starcom Spain, joined Starcom at the global headquarters in Chicago as group strategy director and member of the group’s multicultural division, Tapestry.
Marta is also responsible for Publicis Media Mexico, overseeing all of the brands (Starcom, Zenith, MediaVest/Spark, Blue 449 and Performics). She has had the opportunity to work with clients including Kraft, Samsung, Carrefour, Heineken, Burger King, Bankinter and Securitas Direct, among others. Under her leadership, SMG Spain achieved over 30 awards and recognitions in national and international festivals within two years, garnering its title as Spain’s Most Awarded Agency in 2006 (El Publicista) and Agency of the Year (Anuncios).
She is also an active member of Starcom’s Global Product Committee and involved in international awards and festivals as a juror. She was recognized as a “2016 Women to Watch in Mexico” by Ad Age & AdLatina.
In her role as CEO of Starcom UK, Pippa works with clients such as Samsung, Lidl and Airbnb, among others. She is responsible for the strategic development of the business, as well as ensuring the highest standards of thinking, ideas and delivery across all clients.
Pippa is also active within the industry as a trustee of NABS, Vice President of WACL, a member of the IPA Client Group and sits on the Advertising Association Council.
Rita joined Starcom in 2008 to lead and strengthen Starcom Barcelona’s presence, successfully managing teams and clients including Puig, Desigual, Mars, Asics, Ausonia&Arbora, Cadbury, Camper, Levi’s, Honda and Panrico.
Prior to working at Starcom, Rita held positions at Havas in Madrid. Later she went on to form part of the founding team at Arena (Havas) servicing clients such as Banco Santander, Amena and Campofrio Food Group. When Arena won the Barcelona-based Seat/Vaesa account, Rita was part of the founding team of Arena in the Barcelona office and ledone of the Client Service teams. As client service director at Arena Barcelona, she also worked with Damm, Planeta and Yves Saint Laurent.
Ching Ian Wee is CEO of Starcom China. She is responsible for leading key senior relationships with all major clients across China, driving business growth, diversifying revenue streams, and building on the strong brand identity for Starcom.
Ching joined Publicis in 2002, serving various management positions in Singapore and Japan before moving to Shanghai and becoming managing director of Zenith in that market. Most recently, she was COO of PMX in APAC, where she was tasked with future proofing China’s second largest central media trading platform with direct management responsibility for new media negotiations, operations and a team of 250 specialists. Ching has a breadth of hands-on experience managing luxury, CPG, pharmaceutical and technology businesses and clients including Coca-Cola, Shanghai General Motors, China Mobile, Samsung and China Telecom.

As CEO of Starcom Italy, Vita has deep knowledge of the market and an excellent reputation for transformative leadership in the industry. At Starcom, she has embraced the internal agency culture and recognizes the relevance of human experiences to drive business results. She supports her local team to develop strategic platforms that create intersections between what people love and what brands need, in benefit of clients’ business results.
With more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, both on local and international business, Vita comes from Initiative, where she spent several years as general manager and most recently as CEO of Initiative Media Milano.
Kai is a marketing expert with 22 years experience in brand strategy, marketing communications, digital/social media strategy, media management, trade marketing and sponsoring.
He is a marketing and branding professional with broad experience at major advertising agencies and on the client side, with a proven track record of building teams, brands and sales in consumer and lifestyle industries. Kai successfully managed major accounts and campaigns for Procter & Gamble, Audi, BMW, MINI, Vodafone, Kia and General Motors. He is currently leading some of the biggest clients in Germany for Starcom across all channels.
With international and local experience in the media industry, Birgit is keen to drive innovation and a challenger mindset throughout the agency.
With more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, Birgit joined Publicis Groupe in 2015. In 2017, she moved from Zenith (where she held the COO position) into her current new role at Starcom and Mediavest |Spark. Before her time at Publicis Media she was with Group M, and, prior to that, she was with MediaCom in an international role as Managing Director, EMEA for P&G, based in London. She was also at MEC (CEO, Germany) and Carat where she spent 12 years, half of this time as managing director, during which she built and established the Berlin office.
